# Your NaijaTaste profile and how it learns

> How your NaijaTaste taste profile records persona, price, cuisine, tone, and language signals — and progresses through Discovering to Authority levels.

Your taste profile is the record of how you eat. It grows automatically every time you use the platform and shapes every recommendation and review you get.

## What your profile tracks

| Signal                 | What it records                                                                   |
| ---------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Persona**            | Your current archetype — Lagos Professional, Street Food Enthusiast, or The Aunty |
| **Price acceptance**   | The price ranges you click on and return to                                       |
| **Cuisine preference** | The food types you search for most often                                          |
| **Review history**     | Restaurants you've reviewed and the ratings you gave                              |
| **Tone preference**    | Whether you favour Pidgin-heavy, mixed, or formal output                          |
| **Language**           | The language you chat in on WhatsApp or web                                       |

## How the implicit learning engine works

The engine observes your interactions silently and extracts patterns from your last 50 signals:

* **Rating tendency** — harsh, balanced, or generous based on your saved reviews
* **Tone preference** — which tones you save vs. regenerate
* **Detail level** — whether you adjust reviews to be longer or shorter
* **Restaurant type patterns** — which categories you rate harder or easier

These patterns are injected into every new review generation automatically. No settings page. No setup. The more you use NaijaTaste, the more accurate your simulations become.

## Persona levels

| Level           | Profile depth      | Recommendation precision             |
| --------------- | ------------------ | ------------------------------------ |
| **Discovering** | 0–5 interactions   | Archetype defaults dominate          |
| **Developing**  | 6–20 interactions  | Personal signals begin to emerge     |
| **Established** | 21–60 interactions | Profile is meaningfully personalised |
| **Authority**   | 60+ interactions   | High-confidence taste model          |

Level rises automatically. No manual progression. No gates.

## Viewing your profile

Sign in and open your **Profile** page. You'll see:

* Current persona and level
* Your calculated taste traits (price sensitivity, cuisine preferences, tone tendency)
* Full review history

## Resetting your profile

Profile settings → **Reset history**. Returns you to archetype defaults. Persona level resets to Discovering.
